YogiPlan ("we", "our", or "us") provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the YogiPlan mobile application.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Display name

  • Teaching experience level

  • Yoga style preferences

  • Teaching locations (optional)

User-Generated Content

We store content you create within the app:

  • Yoga sequences and class plans

  • Scheduled classes

  • Class reflections and notes

  • Calendar bookings

Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google) We use Firebase for authentication and data storage. Your data is stored securely on Firebase servers. See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Places API When you search for teaching locations, we use Google Places to provide address suggestions. Google may collect location-related data as described in their privacy policy.

OpenAI When you use AI features (such as sequence generation or "Inspire Me"), your prompts are sent to OpenAI for processing. We do not send personal information to OpenAI — only the class parameters you provide (such as theme, level, or peak pose). See OpenAI's privacy policy: https://openai.com/privacy

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the app

  • Store your sequences, classes, and reflections

  • Enable AI-assisted features

  • Send important updates about the app (if necessary)

We do not:

  • Sell your data to third parties

  • Use your data for advertising

  • Collect analytics or tracking data

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase Cloud Firestore. We implement security rules to ensure you can only access your own data. All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Update or correct your information

  • Delete your account and all associated data

  • Export your sequences as PDF
